Smaklig måltid! That’s what culinary joy sounds like in Swedish and with FRIEDRICHS Herring Bits, which are prepared on the basis of original Swedish recipes, you can also taste the typically Scandinavian aroma.

For our Herring Bits we use only the best hand-selected Norwegian herrings whose origin can be traced right back to the fishing boat. We are the first producer to offer a complete range of herring products from sustainable fishing in accordance with the MSC environmental rules in the interests of protecting herring reserves for future generations. The fish selected are filleted and cut into appetising pieces, which are then placed in harmoniously prepared marinades. In doing so, we select the appropriate original Swedish marinade (sill) to match the fat content of the raw product. The Herring Bits are then allowed to develop their full aroma undisturbed in ideal climatic conditions in dark rock caves. Served with a fresh baguette and crisp lollobianco, FRIEDRICHS MarinatedHerring Bits “sherry” make a delicious snack.
